Help Shape the Future of Accquainted

💬By Sawyer Valin & Seth Flucas

We’re getting ready for something BIG and we want you to be part of it.

After months of development, design tweaks, and real-user feedback, Accquainted is preparing for its first public beta trials at UC Irvine. This phase isn’t just about testing an app — it’s about building a space where campus connections feel more natural, personal, and real.

What Is Accquainted?

Accquainted is a new way for students to meet and connect within their campus community. It’s designed around comfort and authenticity, helping people find friendships, dates, or anything in between with no swiping fatigue or shallow matches.

Built with React Native and Supabase, our app focuses on clean design, smart matching, and real conversations. We’re making it easier to connect with people who share your interests, goals, and sense of humor.

We’re Looking for Beta Testers

We’re inviting a small group of students to join our early beta program and help us shape the experience before release.
As a beta tester, you’ll:

  • Get early access to core features like profile creation, preferences, and chat

  • Be part of our feedback loop, sharing what feels right and what doesn’t

  • Help us ensure a smooth experience for the broader UCI community

No coding experience needed: just curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to test something built by students, for students.

How to Join

If you’re interested, follow us on Instagram @getaccquainted for updates, or sign up through our site to receive an early access invite when beta trials begin.

We’ll be reaching out soon with limited testing slots, feedback opportunities, and some fun behind-the-scenes updates.

This is your chance to be part of the story before it officially begins.
Let’s make campus connections smarter, kinder, and more human, together.
